Contest Winner Announcement

Today’s the day I finally get to announce the winner of my Promising Beginnings Contest, for which the prize is a FULL scholarship to the Mount Hermon Christian Writers Conference this April–registration fee, economy lodging, and meals during the conference.

 I received nearly 150 entries, and what a difficult thing it was to choose only one winner! So many were REALLY good. I wish I could’ve granted several scholarships. But after much prayer and consideration, the entry I chose was:
