Third Annual SoCal Christian Writers’ Conference

The third annual SoCal Christian Writers’ Conference (www.SoCalCWC.com) will be held June 20-22, at Hope International University in Fullerton, California. Attend one day for $255, two days for $340, or all three days for $425. Inexpensive dorm lodging is available.
Instructional options include continuing morning sessions on fiction, nonfiction, screenwriting, memoir writing, platform, and editing. Morning mentoring sessions for fiction, nonfiction, and screenwriting. Afternoon workshops on nonfiction, publishing, marketing, and more. Full-conference double tracks in fiction and screenwriting (two workshops on those topics during each of the afternoon sessions). Full-conference track for teens.
The SoCal faculty includes literary agents, acquisitions editors, magazine publishers, multi-published authors, and professional screenwriters. Conferees can make one-on-one appointments with faculty members throughout the conference and sit with them at mealtimes in the cafeteria.
The SoCal CWC tagline is “Come for the conference, stay for the fun!” Attendees are invited to stay a day or two after the conference for group trips to Disneyland, the beach, Hollywood (The Phantom of the Operais playing at the Pantages), or other Southern California attractions with fellow conferees and faculty members. Or bring your family and enjoy a SoCal vacation in conjunction with the conference.
Hope to see you there! If you would like to be considered for faculty at a future SoCal CWC, please make an appointment to talk with me about that at the conference.

I hope to be at the Third Annual SoCal Christian Writers’ Conference. Having attended years ago, and had a table for my books, please let me know if that is being offered again.

The third annual conference was last summer. This year will be our fourth. It’s July 8-11 at Azusa Pacific University. As we’ve done before, there will be a bookstore where attendees can purchase books written by faculty. For more details, visit http://www.SoCalCWC.com. If you have questions, please email assistantdirector@socalcwc.com.
Would love to see you there this year, Paula!
