I’ve been working for several weeks now with a professional website designer to revamp my site–which was created like 25 years ago, so it was definitely in need of a good overhaul. It’s very close to done now. (As an editor, I think I will always have something I want to tweak!) So I’m curious to know what you think about it.
The overall design is the most obvious change. I dropped a few pages that didn’t seem necessary. I added landing pages for my books and individual landing pages for each of them. I also added a Press Kit for people who want to have me speak/teach at a writers’ event or for those who may wish to interview me on their blog, newsletter, or podcast.
One new feature is a freebie for signing up for my newsletter. Right now, I’m offering a PDF with my thoughts on the changes between The Chicago Manual of Style‘s 17th edition and the 18th edition that came out last September.
